Our Philosophy

A restaurant to be renowned it does not necessarily have to be a Michelin starred. Our philosophy is to satisfy the palate of all our customers, even the most demanding, remaining tied to the typical and simple recipes of our Grandmothers, who were able to satisfy the tastes of all with simple and genuine products keeping costs under control. Rather than to the presentation of our dish, our attention goes to the need of our customers, who must feel not as such as but as friends at their friend’s house .

We are convinced that going to a restaurant is not just a matter of being fed, but also represents an opportunity to meet with people, to chat with a friend or…why not…. to declare our love to our partner. So we believe that not only the food but also the hospitality offered must be at the high end of a similar occasion. Our mission is to meet the needs of our customers at our best, making sure that they will remember us not only for what they have ate but also for how they were welcomed and pampered throughout their stay in Giovanni’s Restaurant .

Discover Our History

Located between Moorgate and Old Street tube stations, Giovanni’s Restaurant opened its doors in 2003, but in 2014 Antonino and Francesco, the new owners, have put together a cosy and truly Italian environment with exquisite food in mind.
Antonino, the Restaurant Manager, has a twenty year experience in the field of catering, having worked as Chef and Maître. He knows how to pamper the most refined palates. Francesco, the General Manager, has worked for many years as Food & Beverage Manager in prestigious London’s Casinos, where he was able to refine his excellent Customer Service skills. The union of those two complementary personalities makes Giovanni’s Restaurant definitely a place where you cannot be disappointed.
